Hot Melt Coating Machine for Making Sticky Insect Trap & amp; Indicators This Hot Melt Coating machine has slot die for coating. Its maximum coating width is 300 mm. It coats on the release liner and then laminates with PVC. This Hot Melt Coating Machine coats glue on each side of the PVC and covers it with release paper, then it is cut to the size and punched with holes. At the users end; when the liner is removed the glue is transferred to PVC. This model can hold material of maximum diameter of 600 mm. Both unwind units have Magnetic power brakes & amp; Web guides. Generally, the PVC used for making Insect traps is 270-micron thickness; Glue coated on each side is 40 gsm, the silicon release liner used is 70 gsm. These glue traps are also called as pheromone traps as it attracts and traps the flying and creeping insects. For pest management program, they are used in commercial crops, green houses, homes, orchards, flower and vegetable gardens. The coverage of stuck insects on the traps indicates the types of insects affecting the crops, its intensity and indicates the area of field affected. This helps to spray pesticides in controlled quantity.
