This video demonstrates the application of BOSTIK PSA Hot Melt Adhesive – Grade W2500, specially engineered for medical and skin-contact applications. The coating process is carried out on a high-precision hot melt coating machine manufactured by Trasy Enterprises. In the process shown, the adhesive blended with 10% zinc oxide is uniformly coated onto a release liner and then precisely transferred onto a crepe bandage substrate. This advanced coating technology ensures controlled coating thickness, uniform adhesive distribution, and consistent bonding performance.
The finished crepe bandage offers superior adhesion, allowing it to remain securely in place on the skin for extended periods without slipping or loosening. The formulation is skin-friendly and hypoallergenic, making it safe for prolonged use and suitable for sensitive skin.
