Product Overview

The Trasy HMA Disc Applicator is a retrofit device for shrink-label center/seaming machines. It applies controlled hot-melt adhesive (HMA) lines on the inner surface of PVC shrink films before center-sealing. Adhesive is applied in ultra-thin layers (10–15 µm) without external heating — frictional softening at the rotating disc ensures no premature shrinkage of the film. During shrink-tunnel processing, the HMA melts and bonds the label securely to the container, preventing slippage on conical shapes.
